소포클레스의 비극 '안티고네'를 Arthur Honegger가 오페라화한 작품으로 20세기 예술사의 다방면에서 활동했던 Jean Cocteau가 대본을 담당했다. 1927년 브뤼셀에서 초연되었을때 무대디자인은 피카소(그는 콕토의 절친한 친구라 한다.)가, 무대의상은 코코 샤넬이 담당했다고 한다. 1985년 Bourg에서 발매된 LP는 INA:Institut national de l'audiovisuel의 1960년 10월 11일의 기록들을 담고 있다.

팝메탈로 한발짝씩 나아가기 전 좋았던 시절의 처음이자 마지막 앨범이다. 당대의 NWOBHM 밴드들의 모습과 크게 다르지 않았던(프로모션 비디오를 보라!) 출발과 달리 노골적으로 미국시장을 동경하면서 미소년으로 변신한 첫번째 앨범부터 전조는 이미 충분히 보여주고 있었던 셈이다.

묵직한 R＆B음색의 Bill Hurley가 일시적으로 밴드를 떠나기 전에 발매된 LP로 레코드 배급문제로 인해 잘 알려지지 않은 앨범이기도 하다.
Bill Hurley의 자리는 Eddie＆The Hot Rods의 Barry Masters가 잠시 대신했으며 2장의 EP를 발표하고 Bill Hurley가 복귀해 라이브앨범 「Meet The Beatles」를 발표한다.

Pezband는 단 한번도 대중들의 폭발적인 관심을 얻은 적은 없었지만 마지막까지 그들의 팬들을 실망시키지 않는 앨범들을 발표하면서 짧았던 활동을 마무리했다. US Powerpop의 전성기에 등장한 Pezband는 60년대 팝의 멜로디가 70년대의 하드록, 펑크/뉴웨이브와 크로스오버 됐을때 어떻게 이상적으로 조화되는지에 대한 하나의 롤-모델을 제시했던 밴드이다.

메이저에서 형편없이 트렌드화 되어갔던 7,80년대 팝록밴드들의 행보에 비해 주로 언더그라운드를 중심으로 DIY 태도를 유지했던 US/UK 파워팝 밴드들은 그 생명력이 짧았던 점이 단점으로 지적되곤 하는데, 이는 상당부분 상업적 이득을 취하는 비생산적인 마케팅 행위에 전력을 다할 수 없었던 외부적인 요인이 자기파괴나 창작력 고갈이라는 내부적 갈등으로 표출된 경우로 메이저 시장의 폐쇄적이고 배타적인 구조가 이들에 대한 지속적인 창작의 조건들을 허용한 경우는 거의 없었다고 해도 과언은 아니다.

밴드는 1981년에 새로운 곡을 녹음하기 위해 잠시 모였다 다시 해산하고 2006년에 투어를 위해 다시 모였다고 한다. 그들의 새로운 곡들은 발표되지 않고 있지만 파워팝과 70년대 로큰롤, 로컬밴드들의 전성기를 재조명하는 컴필레이션 음반에서 그들의 모습을 자주 만날 수 있다.
